Yes. Even though we are enrolled in the MLD program you still need a valid Texas General Hunting License. Resident is $25, Non-resident $315, Youth (under 17 years of age) $7. Read More on Texas Hunting licenses.

Yes. We often have clients that see a deer they want or sometimes 2 or 3 deer they want to harvest, and we are here to please.

Once a deposit has been received ($1,500 /hunter) your date for the hunt will be added to the calendar.

Absolutely. We want to guarantee the health and integrity of our herd and be able to manage the herd for your hunt of a lifetime.

There’s a private airport in Hondo/Castroville and the San Antonio International Airport is an option for commercial travel.

We do not do any bow hunting.

Yes. Before every hunt the hunter is required to shoot with accuracy a 100-yard target.

We go hunt. We have comfortable blinds, and we can hunt in any condition.

We will quarter your meat up and pack it on ice in your cooler for transport to your processor. We can also cape out your head for travel across state line if need be.

Yes. Daily fees apply to all non-hunting guests.

Dress for the predicted weather conditions. Be comfortable and enjoy yourself.

Appropriate hunting clothes, personal items, hunting license, rifle and your ammunition.

Bag limits are set by the state. Daily bag limit of 15 Possession 45.

All forms of gratuity are appreciated, your guide spends several hours in the field prepping and scouting for your arrival so you can have a successful hunt. General guideline would be 10% to your guide and cook but some tip more and others what they can.
